PS4 brought in some really good games this year. But as you can imagine, there can only be one single title to be called GOTY (Game of the Year!). So which one is it?
For a lot of people, that will be God of War. The franchise has been dormant for some time, so having a shift of tone and the great gameplay experience is very convenient and exciting. People that love action games or hack and slash experiences will like this.
A lot of people were banking on Marvel’s Spider-Man to be a hit. And the game surpassed just about all the expectations. It delivered a fantastic experience, and at the same time it brought in some nice new elements to Parker’s story.
Red Dead Redemption 2 might not technically be exclusive, but it’s indeed an excellent game. The ability to explore all the Wild West as you see fit is impressive, and the game experience is just as rewarding. That’s why you should totally check it out!
Detroit: Become Human is one of those games that focuses a lot on story and great user experience. It’s intense, fun and at the same time, it gives a great approach towards the impact on robots on our society and our lives. It really is a great and fun title, one that you should consider checking out and playing.
Every one of these games has the GOTY potential. It all comes down to what genre you like the most. But in the end, we’re all winners and thankful that we have such great games to play.
